For those looking for wedding photography, couples are encouraged to try out the studio with an engagement portrait session before booking a wedding. "It's good to get to know the person you are trusting your wedding photography to.", says Fern Quinn, owner and photographer at A Thousand Words. "Also, it helps me to become familiar with how a couple interacts with each other, so that I can capture their true personalities in their wedding photos. Location shots are my favorite, because of the spontaneity that happens." A discount is given on the engagement session when a wedding is booked.
